I updated my bio JUST for @failgunner

That’s correct. That’s what happens when you live at Apple HQ. Cellular is last century. “@failgunner: 7.1.1 still has the Location Accuracy popup. No one at Apple uses iOS without wifi? ”

If you haven’t heard already, Toki 1.0.1 [itunes.apple.com] is available on the Mac App Store (release notes [kkob.us]). Lots of bug fixes and other goodies :)

I'm getting really good battery life ever since I did a clean install of iOS 7.1. I only installed essential apps. If I don't see an app behaving well when I monitor it in Xcode Instruments, the developer will hear from me. Image [photos.app.net]

@tangentworlds Nice. I’m loving having the extra space on the 64GB.

I just received unsettling news. A good friend of mine lost his father today. I’m a bit shaken because I knew him so well. I saw him often when we used to play in a band. I’ve known him for 15 years. He was incredibly supportive of Kyle’s musical career.

Clearly I’m Apple’s most high profile customer. “@yprod: @zero Not happy with the release notes? Just edit them! http://moby.to/yx5l6l

In the late '80s, I grew up using an Atari ST [en.wikipedia.org]. What, you didn't know Atari made PCs back then? They did. — photos.app.net/28998504/1

@imathis I tried that one and it was okay. I’m kind of liking Source Sans Pro so far.

Yikes. “@jaredsinclair: @zero It’s nothing but edge cases. It’s so fucking awful. I’d rather program a papal surgical robot than write Stream Marker logic again. @bryanjclark

I’ve heard this from others. “@bryanjclark: Day two of building Stream Marker support for Blixt. So far, so good - but for every problem that I fix, another edge case pops up. It’s fun, though - challenging, for sure, but weirdly fun.”

Good man. “@keita: Lull in the day at work == implementing Extended Scopes [blog.app.net] for the next version of Toki [kkob.us]”

LaserDisc was the first commercial optical disc storage medium initially licensed, sold, and marketed as DiscoVision in North America in 1978. [en.m.wikipedia.org] I remember a family friend had one of these back in the '80s. Sadly, it was far too costly, despite the quality.

Betamax debuted in Japan on May 10, 1975. [en.m.wikipedia.org] I remember my childhood best friend had a Betamax player/ recorder. I was enthralled by the format. Sadly it was never meant to be.
