So I guess I’m sticking around on ADN now that I’ve been auto-renewed and stuff…

@gregseay @benbrooks used to be SQLite, now it’s a CoreData store; messages are available after you delete them from the UI, too, for some time.

Curious why some apps update their look to iOS 7 but keep the old keyboard. It’s one of those things users are likely to notice first, then think the app is ‘old’ and uncared for.

@barmstrong I was explaining various key establishment protocols on the one hand, and how OTR works in order to give both secure chats and plausible deniability for the contents to some fellow computerfolk, and their eyes lit up when they ‘got it’.

I love the amazed and excited looks on (some) people's faces when they find out what kinds of things are achievable via cryptography.

@agiletortoise flavoured coffee always comes from inferior beans. It’s why they must flavour it before selling, otherwise nobody will touch the stuff. That said, people put cream and sugar in their brew, so what’s another gross faux pas?

@barmstrong well, I’m trying it out as my main browser at work for a while, and I’ll see how happy I am with the sync (well, outside of iOS, but maybe that’s not going to be a huge deal.)

Every time I want to drop Chrome and go back to Safari, the weak API offerings in Apple’s browser punch me right in my technicals. Increasingly, Firefox looks like an appealing alternative.

@benbrooks recently, had a drive appear dead because the connection cable came loose (Genius fixed it.) If you remove the drive, and connect it directly to something, it might turn out to be healthy, so try the easy/simple things first.

@atdrendel I hope the share menu gets some love next, the list really isn’t working out anymore.

The more I read the news, the angrier and sadder I get at everything. The world and its people can be so impossibly frustrating sometimes.
