When chopping vegetables, know where your digits are and pay attention to them. You don't want to lose one.

Chilling at Reagan. Nice to be home for the weekend, but I must return to Michigan's snow climes to cuddle my kittens.

I love My Linux Rig. Good Linux news and interesting interviews, and it doesn't preach. It just shows you all the amazing things you can do with Linux.

@jws @jnm Thanks! I saw a near list of sed tricks via reddit the other day, to.

I'm listening to Beck's new album, Morning Phase, on iTunes Radio. It definitely reminds me of Sea Change, in a good way. Classic Beck.

@jws @jnm I had a class on it two weeks ago and I heard some similar stuff. Can't remember it though :P

@aaronstanley sed is a command line tool for text processing. It's really powerful for piping text in, making modifications (like a spare new line after every regular expression match), and then passing the text on. It's weird in the abstract.

@jnm Yep, lack of frequent use cases leads to lack of use, which leads to skill atrophy :P I'm on a mission to write a script a week to prevent that.

Really nice caramel black tea today at Tea Haus. Also picked up some nice honeybush loose leaf.

Hobonichi Techo update: still loving it, using it almost daily. Actually beginning to use the planning features, not just the cool paper.

Frustrated that Press doesn't offer feed management in the app. Otherwise perfect.

@zero this misses my concern entirely. Most people aren't worth caring about individually right now, but they could be. And so more data is collected and who knows who has access to it or how they're using it? Just because a nation doesn't care...
