Nice framework benchmarking article. I like that they ask for pull requests for improvements. http://www.techempower.com/blog/2013/03/28/framework-benchmarks/ via @jbossmike on twitter

@aral Nice. Reminds me of the #batmanjs templates, but without the weight of a full, opinionated MVC framework. http://batmanjs.org/

Map showing IPv4 utilization. Lots of unused space considering all the addresses have been assigned. http://internetcensus2012.bitbucket.org/images/hilbert_icmp_map_lowquality.jpg via Christian Neukirchen on twitter

Interesting post on #vertx and how it is important in comparison to #nodejs and other async frameworks. http://blog.andrewvc.com/vertx-node-on-ropes by @andrewvc on twitter

Cool video applying a 24hz sine wave to a water stream. Nice demonstration of aliasing with the camera speed. http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2013/03/this-is-what-happens-when-you-run-water-through-a-24hz-sine-wave/ via #sciencetip on twitter

@aral They do if you use the GitHub edit button and zen editor to write your READMEs. :-) Nice preview button too.

Very cool use of #webrtc tech. Access your webcam from the browser and display video in ASCII: http://idevelop.github.com/ascii-camera/

Just ordered a #pandaboard es. Going to load #Boot2Gecko on it so I can start playing with #firefoxos. Excited!

@strmpnk Yep, got it. And I can see that being better than twitter PMs, especially with something like @projectamy.

@strmpnk Sent you a PM with the link. I think. First time using that feature in ADN.

@aral Also, I have to admit that I was shocked 2d box view was not in the previous released versions of #Firefox. Didn't realize it was new in #Firefox 20.

@aral True. I think that reflects a lot of Open Source, though. People work on what interests them. From what I have read the culture at #mozilla is still very much based in that kind of culture. I agree, though, it doesn't provide the best UX.

@aral Well, many things that sound good on paper don't turn out in practice. Nature of R&D, hindsight is 20/20, etc. Probably fair to say they didn't do enough user testing with devs early on. Seems like #mozilla is doing a better job of this lately.

@aral Does it not show in the box model for you? For me I select inspector tab, select box model on right, click "select with mouse" button on left, and then when I click on an element the box model shows the margin/padding. This is in Firefox 20 beta.
