@zames_curran Markdown works in source format, and output format. The annotations in source format are a form of structure, that just so happen to be easy to write, and read.

@zames_curran you can do the same thing wit markdown files. They are just plain text.

The opening credits of "Halt and Catch Fire" are pretty striking. http://motionographer.com/2014/06/02/halt-and-catch-fire-main-titles/

@paulkruczynski it doesn’t need node.js to run the server component. It only needs node to compile certain assets. So, I think you could host it on a shared host.

Today is my last day at ADN. It’s been a hell of a ride, and a fun one at that. Thanks to everybody for making this place awesome (and thanks to @berg for bringing me along). I don’t have any future plans yet, so time for some funemployment!

Just want everyone to know that @voidfiles 1) wrote my favorite App.net extension and 2) saved a lame San Diego work trip night for me by recommending an awesome local brewpub. Thanks on both accounts!

Whee! Took me 30 minutes to get an alpha clone up and running on a DigitalOcean VPS. Is anybody interested in my minimal notes? I basically just followed the readme and figured out required packages along the way.
