      Introducing, the shrugflip. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ╯︵ ┻━┻ @mattro’s amazing contribution to the world. Thank you, Matt.

        @juliagrill easy answer to that one: don’t use Swift for anything but playing and learning (yet). There’ll be a couple more Xcode seeds released before it’s ready.

          @marc @jws it’s pretty rough. Hopefully there’ll be a new seed next week.

            @mgrimes is there any resolution in sight?
            tonyarnold
              @remus it’s probably resolvable using the podspec, but that’s not really a fix. Still 👍

                @remus I haven’t tested on iOS yet. I was targeting OS X.
                tonyarnold
                  @remus where/what are you targeting? OS X? 10.9?
                  tonyarnold
                    @remus have you linked CFNetwork into your target?
                    tonyarnold
                      @remus I have submitted a pull request: https://github.com/joeldev/ADNKit/pull/87 It seems that the maintainers aren’t working on it regularly anymore — although this was a big PR, with far reaching effects and it still needed work. /cc @joeldev @berg

                        Unusual request — does anyone have or know of an open source iPhone app that makes use of AutoLayout?
                        tonyarnold
                          @acf new lang, not sure — but I’ve certainly heard rumours of new ways of working with what we have. I’d be keen on either, tbh

                            When did a "tip" become a "lifehack"?

                                @mgrimes everyone needs critique of their code, but I feel that there’s more to this than the code. There’s a business model in TDD that’s propping lots of houses up — hence the vitriolic reactions from both sides.
                                tonyarnold
                                  @mgrimes he’s expressing something I think a lot of people feel. Designing your apps to be more “testable” incurs changes to the natural design of classes that you wouldn’t otherwise make. Depends whether you think tests are more or less important.

                                    @mgrimes and yet, I know that that’s not what _you_ mean when you say it, it doesn’t help that there is an almost religious fervour and odd practice around the process.
                                    tonyarnold
                                      @mgrimes honestly, that’s what I get shitty about with TDD proponents, and why I like guys like DHH questioning it (even if they do it with a hammer). You say “use your brain” like I’m not using my brain when I choose not to follow the TDD process.
