@thomasmb do you know by any chance if there's already a plug-in to auto post new blog posts from WP to ADN (without IFTTT of course ;))
        andi242
@thomasmb very nice! have to try that! :) @nhk

@mus @125f8 @andi242 Glad you like it. Let me know if you find anything that needs fixing.
            andi242
@thomasmb just installed it by now :) what might come handy would be a trigger to refresh posts immideately - no patience to wait 5 minutes! ;))
              thomasmb
@andi242 i'll put it on the todo-list! I've already made a "clear posts" sort of function, just need to implement it.
                andi242
@thomasmb cool, thanks :) testing :) will this only show new posts since activation of the widget?
                  thomasmb
@andi242 Not entirely sure what you mean? Got an IM client we can use to talk? (skype or something?)
                    andi242
@thomasmb sorry, not at the moment. I'm at work :D I'll be doing some testing, and get back to you. :)

@andi242 Ok. In short, the basic post-embedding only embeds one specific post. Also "expiration" is disabled by default, and the refresh-timer will therefore be ignored. The ability to embed a users latest post will be in the the next release.

@nhk Not that I know about, sorry..

@thomasmb thanks :) I think I won't use the widget since I only got a single column theme. created an IFTTT recipe instead to post starred posts to WP :) what I would like to see is an option to open links (date, client, etc.) in target=_blank
                            thomasmb
@andi242 Ah, nice! Good idea, will add that in the next update.

                                @marthadear - that's great.. I'm just wondering when would they integrate app.net in about.me!
                                boumi
@thomasmb cool, thank you. i just embedded the sidebar-widget in my blog flurakus.ch - would be even nicer, if you would add a link to the app.net profile, as "More updates..." for instance.
                                  thomasmb
@boumi Looks nice :D Cool with both twitter and App.Net in the sidebar.. You mean just like the Twitter widget you are using, optional, with a customisable text? I will add that to the todo list!
                                    boumi
@thomasmb yes, like the twitter widget :-)

@thomasmb Installed a new theme yesterday. the ADN plugin appears to be having some issues: http://www.deleker.com/category/adn/ any suggestions? I have no idea what to look for to fix this...

@andi242 Thank you for letting me know. It seems there have been some changes to the API. Updating the plugin as we speak.
                                          andi242
@thomasmb I had suspected the API :) thanks!

@thomasmb the update dropped in this minute :D updated, seems to work fine, thank you :)

The Wordpress plugin by @thomasmb just got updated to match ADN API changes. http://www.bensmann.no/downloads/wordpress-adn-plugin/ Also available in the WP plugin directory, search for 'TMB ADN'

@andi242 Glad to hear that it fixed the issues :)

@andi242 with version 0.1.3 of my ADN plugin for WordPress, a setting to open links in a new window/tab has been added.

@thomasmb Hi Thomas, I think I found a glitch in your plugin: https://alpha.app.net/terhechte/post/1237338 starred this post and imported it as usual via IFTTT, it somehow killed 'the loop' for that category.
                                                      andi242
@thomasmb ok, looks like it's the emoticons. worked well in the WP post preview, but no longer when published.
                                                        thomasmb
@andi242 I’ll check it out tomorrow!

@andi242 I tried embedding that post. On my mac it looks the same as it does on ADN. The emoticon only shows when i view it on my iPhone
                                                            andi242
@thomasmb hmm... please have a look : http://www.deleker.com/category/adn/ I've created a new post with that embedded post. the view is filtered by category and it appears it renders until the emoticon and goes boom.
                                                              thomasmb

                                                                andi242

                                                                  andi242

                                                                      andi242
