Hey @tapbots @netbot — had trouble logging into Netbot. Turns out, because I had 2FA enabled, I needed a one-time passcode. Maybe add a notification for users on login failure? App.net website > Settings > Security > App-Specific Passwords

@arstechnica @urraca I think it would be more manageable if there was a separate Ars news account; I thought the idea with this one was to highlight special articles and communicate with readers.

Omg, @arstechnica, App.net is not a replacement for RSS. You don’t need to post every single article.

“It doesn’t make sense … it’s a bug, if you will … that so many Apple developers feel that their only opportunity to solve a problem is by meeting in person with an Apple engineer at WWDC.” End WWDC, by @danielpunkass http://bit.ly/10DwjZt

@davidangel @arstechnica “No brainer” basically sums up BitCoin.
            the_evan
@davidangel @arstechnica Yes. The currency has no granularity (that I’m aware of; are there “BitCents”?), so as the currency deflates it becomes more difficult to spend. A BitCoin worth $500 won’t do any good if you just want a pizza.

@arstechnica Frontal lobotomy. A fake currency with no backing or at least a stable government to support by fiat, and a fixed money supply (guaranteeing deflation)? Pass.

@siracusa regarding iOS background audio for interapp communication: I remember as a kid using cassette tapes to store data on my TRS-80. I wonder if that format could be adapted.

@arstechnica After I moved out for college, I never had a landline except what was included in the dorm or apt already. Been cell-only since ca. ‘01. Landlines are just for telemarketers now.

@marco 28 nm A5 may not be a production test for a retina iPad mini part, but could be a test for the new process node. Apple rarely (never?) does full production test of a new part before product launch, but must test new process/fab. 28 nm A5X if good?

@arstechnica Hey there’s a Juicy Couture ad in your rotation with a lady showing her underwear. Not sure if you guys prefer to keep it more “work safe”.
