    In-app purchase is not supposed to be used for demo/trial , but at least one app has slipped through the review process for a while on the Mac App Store: http://mjtsai.com/blog/2012/12/02/dash-1-7-2/comment-page-1

        @cparnot The guidelines clearly prohibit time trials and demo only apps, but I’m not convinced what Dash does is prohibited. It is maybe in the gray zone.
