@patrickrhone I found a recipe for a rye hot toddy, because I had some rye I needed to use up. It's my new favorite grownup drink. http://elmne.ws/19OFzMd

@patrickrhone I love doing that. That's what pained me about getting rid of a bunch of books the last time we moved. However, I also realized I was keeping some books "for looks" more than because they were meaningful to me.

@patrickrhone Hey, it was a pleasure to see your beautiful family the other day. It was really great to hang out with Bethany (and your other very nice friends). :)

@patrickrhone Bethany is making me want to just write a check.

@patrickrhone My choir's singing a version of "Which Side Are You On?" in our Feb 8 show. The ladies have been talking a lot about Florence Reece's story. Digging it. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2010/08/03/889841/-Unions-101-Which-Side-Are-You-On#

So, Camp Wellstone was pretty great. Useful tools. Great networking. Resources going forward. Fantastic pep talks. And, most importantly, the philosophy of organizing, campaigning, and governing from progressive values. Anybody from anywhere can go…

@patrickrhone Ultralight flights, however, may not be kid-friendly.

@patrickrhone We've been to Arenal and Manuel Antonio. You're gonna totally love it. If I could make one suggestion, while you're in MA, pop up the road to Quepos and take an ultralight flight at the airport.

@patrickrhone Ha! Also, you're in for a treat. I love Cards Against Humanity. But you have to play with the right people. i.e., those who get your humor and are also not easily offended.

Made it through my first TCWC concert as a staff person, instead of singing. It went pretty well! I thought I knew before how much work went into making these events happen, but wow, so many people do so much. Gotta keep them happy.

A lesson I've re-learned in recent weeks: My internal dialogue is wildly out of sync with the external. I listened to myself explain to a friend what I'm doing these days and I was super impressed with myself. Telling my story -- out loud -- matters.

@patrickrhone I wish I could have gone to that Death to Prom screening. I've had about five chances and still haven't been able to fit it in.

@patrickrhone That's it. I'm going to have to throw some kind of party.

I ran my first marathon last weekend. I don't just say this often, but I am really f-ing proud of myself. Been floating all week. Figuratively. Literally, I'm still limping a little.

@patrickrhone I totally believe that that is a thing that you would do.
