@spacekatgal I just scanned the study, and it’s the opposite of the article: “Women are paid significantly less than men are in nearly every occupation. (…) Yet progress in closing the gap between men’s and women’s pay has been slow and (…) has stagnated.”
@annatarkov I'm going to try to keep a laser like focus on dishonest methodology, and not get into the whole fundamentally flawed underling assumptions thing. Because I think they're going to stop me after 2000 or 3000 words.
@pamdavis Exactly. As my friend who is working on his Phd at MIT put it, "It ignores most of the structural biases against women by rigidly defining groups (i.e. among computer science graduates with perfect GPAs from Stanford, there is no gap)."
