    @agiletortoise It would be wrong not to.

      @mdhughes I nominate Yakety Sax.

        3 days and counting. No way to check the progress or status. I'm too curious if it will ever finish to cancel it. At least it will be fun to laugh at how terrible it is. iCloud restore [photos.app.net]

          @mdhughes Yeah I came to the same conclusion. The physics are fun but the game is lousy.

            @mdhughes It is much better these days. Properties, collections, syntax sugar, and ARC are all big improvements. I still think ditching the @ prefixes all over would be nice eventually though. They're like big round warts all over.

              @mdhughes The more sugar and modernness they introduce to ObjC, the more the crufty C properties feel like crufty C properties. Eventually they have to introduce a new, incompatible syntax or fix all the cruft.

                @danielpunkass Maybe for some reason AppleScript for Pages is going to take longer than 6 months. @cparnot @manton @coreint

                  @adn You guys rock! Just this weekend I wanted to mess around with the app.net API but didn't have an easy way to do it. Now I do.

                    @jbwhaley That’s backwards. Google hacked an IMAP interface onto their proprietary mail service because we users asked for it. @cocoasamurai

                      @manton I have dropped mine several times on concrete sidewalks. Amazingly resilient. My 3GS broke almost every time I dropped it, even on a wood floor.

                        @ollie Yeah it’s not perfect. Just the only one I could think of at all.

                          @ollie How about "chance"?

                            “Our AWS bill is going to be due on the third. We’re not going to be able to pay.” — Sad to hear that Everpix couldn’t make it. Photo sync is more important than what many funded startups are doing. http://t.co/Xc19LQYjdq

                              @cocoasamurai Only if you prefer massive tables to a few rules. The second table can be reduced to 2-3 rules. Is that actually meant to be useful to anyone? It's well-know to only use == when you want coercion.

                                @mdhughes I find it laughable that he thinks Google Docs competes with Office. Google Docs spreadsheet is terrible. Not even close to Excel.

                                    @zepfhyr lol! Well to each his own. If I wanted childish arguments I would be on hacker news or reddit. I’ll just quietly unfollow and forget about it.

                                      @zepfhyr Plus the fact that most people idly look at their phones while watching TV. It all adds up.

                                        @zepfhyr Obviously it all hinges on their sample. Of all moms or just moms with smartphones, etc. I just don’t find it so ridiculous because I have seen my non-geek friends and family use their phones for hours on end, all the time. Main computer.
