@ha_jo I'm going to be in Nürnberg next season. I quit, so it's an amicable departure, just sad to leave friends behind

Tomorrow, once the season is officially over, I'll have some free time to finally finish Prose. I've slowly got authentication and inline images rewritten, but development slowed to a crawl. #prosedev

Tonight is my last performance in Munich with the Bayerisches Staatsballet. It will most likely end in some good ol' cathartic tears

Last Corsaire today, I can't wait for it to be over

                Anyone in Ingolstadt?

This week's weather has been wonderful. The forecast predicted rain and clouds but it's been 15-24 and bright the whole time I've been in Ingolstadt

I'm going on tour to Ingolstadt this weekend so I grabbed a few movies for the hotel: Macbeth, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II, Eddie the Eagle, Room, Zootopia, and Only God Forgives. Just a bit eclectic haha

I’m three episodes into The Night Manager and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve never read the source material but like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, another Le Carré adaptation, it doesn’t treat you like an idiot

There is something really nice about typing on a Macbook keyboard with really clean and dry hands. Something in the sound and the glide…

I've been rewatching Arrow lately and there are some clever little Easter eggs. In the first scene with Caitlin and Cisco, Cisco causally asks "Are you getting a bad vibe of this guy?" Is there a hat tip emoji?

Recreated my custom label yesterday. Now when you present an modal view controller (like a UIAlertController) all the selectable text goes grayscale like the system controls do. It's all in the little details #prosedev

@thomasbrand those title cards… damn I love that show

@jws yep, kind of a facepalm moment. I was trying to count things based on a set of known variables rather than just using the same units of measurement that NSString uses under the hood. It's funny how it took 2 weeks to get there hahaha

As much as Swift's implementation of strings is complicated and cumbersome, it allows a lot of insight into the strings and therefore extensibility. Also, reduce() and map() are becoming staples for eliminating verbose for statements #prosedev

In my ongoing fight with Unicode I feel like I'm the boy that cried wolf. That being said, I might have finally won the war. For finding correct offsets, enumerating over composed characters and then using each Unicode Scalar's UTF16 length does the trick
