@manx "Holiday Classics" and "Swinging Holiday." Maybe the links don't work cause they're tied to the Canadian music store or something

@joanna ah I thought the radio stations were public but maybe that's only Beats 1, my bad.

And if you like a little bit of jazz in your Christmas music, this station has got you covered [itunes.apple.com]

If you're into Christmas music, as I am on this fine December 1st, Apple Music has a nice classic Christmas station [itunes.apple.com]

Also, Airbnb's App is always being updated too. They must ship some unreliable code

Ugh wth, the Uber app has an update like every other day, do they not know how to test their software? What's really stupid is that I'm complaining but could totally remove it cause I don't even use it regularly.

@jacobrealo it's making me want to watch the show again. The first episode has some awesome tidbits in it, and I'm only 15 minutes in

I finished rewriting the stream view controller to efficiently handle everything from trimming to reloading all sections, to fetching at gaps, etc; all asynchronously and while calculating layouts in the background. I'm super proud of this code. #devadn

I just figured out a neat use of generic typealiases (they're new in swift 3). I have a complicated Operation subclass that now is much less cumbersome to write

@tomcat you can do it right now from a terminal with curl. The docs [developers.app.net] have helpful examples and the Global stream doesn't need authentication (despite what the docs say, just omit the "Authorization: Bearer …" bit) // @matigo @jws @cgiffard

@jws haha oops I thought hey were programming specific terms like agile or object-oriented or something.
                        shawnthroop
@jws sorry, Google is failing me again, what's anodyne syntax and outré semantics?
                          shawnthroop
@jws they almost couldn't be more different when it comes to nil values and type safety which makes the similarity in appearance odd. Today I was struggling with "0" (a string) being turned into null which can also be mistaken for false (a Boolean)… 💩

Also, I just slapped together something to interface with the server from iOS. After working with javascript for a couple of days, I feel much more confident writing Swift code. #devadn

@33mhz I do need to get better at taking breaks. It was 14:00 before I realized I hadn't had breakfast 😬

Today I finalized a basic express server that is the front end to a mongodb database of device tokens. It even has authentication via sha1 signatures and a nice little API. Now to glue all the other pieces together. #devadn

@smc it's a pretty great game. I lots a lot of time to it yesterday

@clarkgoble there was a 5K display announced. It's not Apple branded through and through, but is it not retina?
