    Dear Readers: Last night I purchased several grammar books. I intend on reading them every night until I don't suck at grammatics — that's a thing right?

      @benbrooks It can be, you're probably starting it right now

            @shawnblanc no, not yet. I actually bought a bunch of the "grammar girl" series because the way she explains the rules actually make sense. That's been my problem: comprehending the rules enough to apply while I write.

              @benbrooks the red book is super easy to comprehend. Short little one-tip chapters.

                @benbrooks I believe that’s “grammalogy.”

                  @benbrooks Strunk and White is always a classic. Short too. And Choosing The Right Word (http://www.amazon.com/Choose-Right-Word-S-Hayakawa/dp/0062731319), while not grammatics per se, is super useful in thinking through the subtle shadings of word choice.

                        @benbrooks The Oatmeal's posters are pretty useful. The humour helps to make it stick. http://theoatmeal.com/tag/grammar
