I love Virgin, but tonight is the last night I believe a captain when he says “Looks like we’re going to have a smooth flight to Boston.” Him quoting Star Tours should have probably been the tip-off.

@lexfri Treadmill is fine! Desk part (Ninja desk) is too recessed into the wall for me to work well on it, unfortunately.

Just discovered the Fitbit tracks “bounces” on the exercise ball. Well, it’s technically good for my core, and the desk part of my treadmill is FUBAR, sooo… *bounce bounce bounce*

@patrick I alternate between loving and hating CSS. But I think it’s designed that way. It gives you a problem (“Why the fuck is that DIV over there?!”) and then the immense sense of satisfaction when you finally puzzle out how to fix said broken thing.

What do you do when you’re in the Apple Store, feeling sad because you spent way too much money repairing your phone? You buy a Fitbit, of course. So if anyone wants to be pedometer buddies…

@antichrista It’s a bit terrifying. I’ll never do it perfectly (can’t quit you, bread and cheese) but eating organic, avoiding pre-packaged stuff, grass-fed meat, etc makes my body much happier. Except for the part where I become a stinky hippie.

@antichrista @fields @jessie I hate “low calorie desserts.” You either eat nothing, fruit, or a 600 calorie cheesecake that tastes like heaven. The 100 calorie “it doesn’t taste great but there’s chocolate!” snacks seem like a waste.

@antichrista My derby buddies have made me much more conscious about what I eat lately. It’s a little insane what the removal of processed foods does for your general health. I feel 100x better (though I do miss candy).

@antichrista In theory, doing something like that yourself sounds really cool. In reality, too much potential for everything to fall on your head.

Generally, I feel a lot better in unfamiliar territory when I actually know how it functions. Which is why my browser history now contains a page called “How Viruses Work.”

Having tonsillitis now probably means I won’t be sick for WWDC. Woohoo! That, or I’ll be patient zero. Sorry, guys.
