Finding the limitations of the iOS application workflow quite frustrating now after all of these years.. Not being able to flow content from one app to another of my choice is pretty infuriating.

@rossa I’ve been wondering about jail breaking mine - the lack of workflow and easy configuration on iOS bugs me considerably. Was it an easy process?

@andyl I can adapt to circumstance and situation :-)

So I have to get a contractor agent to pick me for a short list for a role - she started infant school when I started as a graduate in work. Feeling tired and old today.

Some aspects of BB10 sound very compelling - and I’m a closet Blackberry keyboard fan from my old corporate lifestyle (even if I do love my iPhone and other Apple tech).

Apple definitely taking a beating in the chattering class of tech journalists, pundits and speculators. I wonder what the reign of Ive will do to upcoming iOS releases to reinvigorate the software design. Sustaining innovation not sufficient now.

@kenleyneufeld agreed - plot line so wide that any other closure would have been difficult and possibly dissatisfying.

Last ever Fringe was amazing - perfect ending and another tv era closed.

So far CouchDB and CouchRest working well.. My CouchDbRepository can create and fetch aggregates .. Things will get gnarlier when I implement the where/find by type methods

Today I’m venturing into CouchDB as a persistence plugin for Trails.. Just another repo dependency but I can’t stay with in-memory hashes forever. Want someone to use the app in anger after all.

Might end up rolling my own popup using the underlying Twitter Bootstrap CSS and some judicious offsetting. Not ideal. Would be fantastic to have a great web dev on this “lean bootstrap” startup (being a jack-of-all trades isn’t always ideal)

And on the other hand, need to think about getting some more paid work soon.

Yak-shaving just now, trying to get Twitter Bootstrap’s Popover component to display a form that is hooked up to JavaScript events (via Knockout JS). It doesn’t want to take an existing div as content except as a shallow HTML copy. Frustrating.

@andyl I’d be interested to hear about the interesting departures, though.

@andyl I pitched in for a couple of things but nothing come back yet. I’ll look more aggressively next week.

Turns out the musical overlap between me and my eldest daughter is dubstep. Who would have thought.

@andyl yes, many things would wind me up working there :-)

Struggling to wind myself up for 2013
