@reneritchie WHY CAN’T I JUST DELETE THE “M” BEFORE THE URL TO GET THE NON MOBILE SITE ON IMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    reneritchie
@benbrooks because our cookies suck and Drupal is torture? There’s a Desktop button on the top right and we’re working on obsoleting it :-/. Sorry!

@reneritchie Why did you choose Drupal for CMS? It seems all sites recently are jumping on the WP train @benbrooks

@vestimir @benbrooks We used to use WP. It couldn't do what we needed. Drupal is a beast. In every sense of the word.

@reneritchie @vestimir @benbrooks Maybe it was just the designers I used but I found Drupal to be a mess and much harder to modify and tweak without becoming a Drupal expert than WP. Certainly for big projects Drupal is better but it can be overkill.

@clarkgoble I've always used custom built php frameworks for CMS @reneritchie how does Drupal scale for a site with many visitors. Does it have plugins for this, or you wrote code specially for imore?

@vestimir We have a tech team, I'm nowhere near the code other than a few CSS or HTML tweaks :) We have about 2-3 million page views a day across the network, all on Drupal, almost always without a hitch.

@clarkgoble @vestimir @benbrooks We had WP scaling for millions of page views a day, but Drupal is far more flexible. We have a couple of Drupal devs, and some general devs, so it is a lot of work, but it can ultimately do way more.

@reneritchie thanks I'll take a look at it. If it can pull that kind of horsepower it should be very reliable. Do you use caching, or it's all generated realtime? @benbrooks @clarkgoble
