    @matigo Especially since my email address is literally in my profile name :-)

      @charlesg @literary It can’t be as bad as mine
      rabryst
        @matigo Especially since I don’t own that domain.
        rabryst
          @matigo Well that was silly. I don’t have any email addresses active on that domain.

            Jason, I’m still waiting for your email. @matigo

              Apple Music is not playing nicely with iTunes today. Can’t see my iCloud library at all.

                @jacobrealo the /R means REPAIR. That’s why it takes a while to run.

                  @jacobrealo I’m the opposite 😀 Open a command prompt (as administrator) and type: CHKDSK /R It will prompt you to restart the computer, and then when you do, will check the file system for errors. It will take a while.

                    @jacobrealo I reckon if the machine is old, better run a CHKDSK on the file system, and then defrag it.

                      @jacobrealo Makes no difference, dude. a 486 DX2/66 can burn a CD at 300 KB/s. DVD burning *starts* at around 1.3MB/s.

                        @smc I saw that list. Again, disgust but no surprise.

                          @smc Does it surprise you, though? Idle hands, etc.

                            @jacobrealo That’s very slow, like I said. 300KB/s is 2xCD-ROM speed.
                            rabryst
                              @jacobrealo Try see if that helps.

                                @jacobrealo FWIW, 300KB/s is CD-ROM speed, not DVD. There’s a serious problem there.
                                rabryst
                                  @jacobrealo Did you defrag the hard drive?
