      @jnm Oh. I thought you had to add bitters to get a Randolph. @rabryst @thedoctor

        @streakmachine 8° is horrible. But so is 11° with rain & 30 kph wind. #ForecastForToday 27° is nice. @jextxadore

          @thedoctor There’s another variant that replaces the tomato juice with more vodka. It’s called the “Bloody Awful.” @jnm

            @keita I use a portable A/C in dehumidify mode feeding dried air to the back of a large portable evaporative cooler. That reduces the ambient temperature by around 5 to 6°C provided I place myself directly in the airstream. The evap cooler is LOUD.

              @streakmachine Time for a trade. I’ll take your 27°, you can have the 8° we currently have here. @jextxadore

                @keita your air conditioner doesn’t have a dehumidifier setting? Most of them do.

                  If it happens once, it's a bug. If it happens twice, it's a feature. If it happens more than twice, it's a design philosophy.

                        @rabryst I used to work with a fellow called Clive Gray. (Grey is the more common spelling). He said “That’s with an “A.” He had no reason to be upset when I called him “Clave,” did he? @blumenkraft

                          @gtwilson Fairly hard to fuck up “Pete” but it’s doable! @rabryst @larand

                            @variablepulserate Flick cuts out the middleman. Goes from one thingie to another on a one-on-one basis. Can be done via an ad-hoc network. Try that with Dropbox, email, etc.

                              @variablepulserate I have no issue with that. If the plan is to share something between devices, then why not have both turned on with the apps active?
