@hazardwarning I got my then B-Class license when I was 14, it took me ages to buy a second hand Yaesu 2m rig as my job before and after school was folding boxes and packing confetti into them! Happy memories. @bazbt3 @jnm @sgtstretch @larand

So Firefox and Chrome are detected as 'Controlled Applications' on my work laptop, but it's totally safe for me to be using IE9.

The temperature has dropped in Wuhan. Wearing 4 (maybe 5 layers) to keep warm in the customer factory. Hurry up spring and warm up please. My hands are too cold to type.

@matigo we need a qualified Forklift driver this morning, translate your license to Chinese and come to Wuhan! ;)

@jws My Mac probably has a backup, I will start it up without an Internet connection tonight and cross my fingers. But s service such as Evernote should have better versioning/recovery options. It will suck if I have to return to using text files @mgrimes

My love affair with Evernote may have just ended, the content of all notes created this week are now empty

@henry brilliant! Here they seem to be building elevated roads on all major roads at exactly the same time.

Traffic chaos, only 16km left to my hotel, had to abandon one route but second one looks just as bad. Who introduced the automobile to China? photos.app.net/54765479/1

Boarding flight MU2692 to Wuhan! Let's hope the weather is better than Shanghai! See you later folks!

@jnm its standard in Europe too. I'm going yo be working at a joint venture so I am not sure what rules apply. My experience thought China and Korea is that lock out is never done (except by me) and colleagues complain when I do it!
                                paulgit
@jnm strangely China law only requires tag out, but I'm not taking any chances. Many western joint ventures require lock out also...just going prepared!

My checked baggage triggered alarms and I was summoned to have it searched, security did not like the look of my safety lock-out hasps! Once I demonstrated what they were for all was well! image [chimp.li]

@matigo thanks, hopefully a quick flight and then I can get to the hotel to rest and relax! I have some new antibiotics which are starting to clear up what is left of my chest infection
