    @snrkl almost perfect if it wasn't for the 3rd World Internet connections! 😜 @rabryst

      @snrkl there, there. Just be grateful for what you have. When I was a lad we hadn't two paper cups and a piece of string to communicate with! 😜

        @snrkl are you sure you are not in my house in the UK?

          @skematika if I did find one I wouldn't know as I have no idea what one is! 😞

            @rabryst it's normal when you stay in cheap hotels in China, if my company would pay for 5-Star places I would probably be OK. There is a Starbucks near my hotel but it opens at 9am. No good when I leave for work at 7am! 😭😭😭

              Another week without coffee, struggling to survive. Not even my hotel has anything that resembles coffee #Nanchang

                Interesting. This VPN uses a special protocol on the desktop, but it looks like it's a good job I'm going to Germany next week! Image [photos.app.net]

                  @pme really? It scared me. First time it had happened. Very strange.

                    @pme I use 1Password. The issue was this morning I turned on my MBP and it had forgotten my iCloud password, the password for all my email accounts etc.

                      @pme what do you mean?
                      paulgit
                        @smc Quite possibly, but I don’t knowingly store the keychain in iCloud…must check. These things always happen when you just need to do something quickly!

                          How very strange, my MacBook Pro seemed to have had a corrupt keychain or something, it forgot passwords for many email accounts, I had to recreate entries for each email account (changing the password did not work!)

                            @cgiffard Ok, I see. I didn’t realise author was China based. I guess if your family aren’t threatened…

                              @matigo cloning now at 3KiB/s without a VPN. So it kind of works but like many international sites is bloody slow. Still best used with a VPN.

                                I hadn’t realised that GitHub was no longer blocked in China, but it looks like they have sold out to Chinese government (check out my previous post). So Github users, don’t do anything to upset the Chinese authorities.

                                  Breaking News: Shadowsocks became the Github Trending No.1 globally after its forced removal by the Chinese gov. http://t.co/86QaUVvbwT

                                    I was going to go out for breakfast but there is quite heavy rain. I could take an umbrella or just stay home and drink lots of coffee.

                                      @johnpatkinson they have mince pies at Christmas, so fingers crossed! I blame you because I had not thought of custard until I saw your photo! 😜
