@rrbrambley That’s what Foursquare reports to us as the location. Weird.

Check out Sunlit, an app that stores photos, locations, and text with integration with your Ohai journal. http://sunlit.io/

@zero @failgunner @phoneboy That’s why there’s support for custom places, which isn’t ideal, but it’s better than nothing. I didn’t want to depend on Foursquare, which could be shut off by them

@pictor Hmm, strange. I just did some stress testing and saw that issue happen only once. I’ll look into what’s happening and hopefully will have it fixed in the next update. Sorry about that!

@wyldkard I’m definitely looking at doing something like that, especially now that broadcast channels are a thing it can use. No immediate plans though.

We all make mistakes. In Ohai 1.1, you can fix them… or just delete them forever. — photos.app.net/17671179/1

@platkus Not in this version, that feature is about half done. But there are lots of other new, heavily requested features to hopefully make up for it. :)

@danatnr Yep! You can do this today by tapping the plus button on the Places screen.

@tewha No offense assumed. :) Don’t forget to try tilting your phone when looking at one of those photos!

@tewha Thank you! The update uses the new letterpress text style in iOS 7, as well as dynamic text sizing. The typography choices are super important for this design.

@tewha Wanted to make sure people realized it was a GIF, and didn’t just close the tab. ;)

@drinkipa Yes, Ohai still uses App.net’s places database for searching for locations.

@rrbrambley Yep! It will be close with the shutdown but I'm hopeful. 😄

@drinkipa The journal is stored as a channel on App.net, and individual posts are messages within that channel. The channel spec [github.com] has more information.
