I illustrated @moltz’s hilarious product review (of his dog) in the latest issue of @themagazine. And then we put it on a shirt! http://teespring.com/dogreview

Was interested to note at the TypeEngine launch party on Friday how many people were talking about having "met" on App.net instead of other places.

@dmoren My dog doesn't like peanut butter either. Which is weird for a dog. Also, it's weird for a human because peanut butter is delicious.

@manton Might be because Tuesday is "economy" night at that theater. Tickets were only $5 so maybe they make you sit through more previews to make up for it.

I didn't get an exact count, but I believe they showed 142 trailers before Iron Man 3, including the 3-hour preview of The Great Gatsby, which featured Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Kate Mulvaney and Baz Luhrmann telling us how great Baz Luhrmann is.

I think you can tell this Gatsby movie is going to suck by how relentlessly they're pushing it. Had to sit through a long, boring preview for it before Iron Man 3 last night and now my Tumblr stream is full of ads for it.

@marel Everything about peanut butter you were afraid to ask about.

Hey, online pub staffers - do your publications have error counts that factor into your reviews? I know traditional newspapers often have those. FWIW, I think it's a bad practice as it incentivizes covering up errors.

I didn't really want to post something about Boston on my stupid technology blog but at the same time it seemed insensitive not to post anything.

@benbrooks Weird. Our lights flickered a while ago but stayed on. Wonder what’s up.

@mrgan The original? I would, too, probably. So two hands. But iMac to iPod, three years. iPod to iPhone, six years. It’s barely three since the iPad.

@mrgan But how often have they ever released big idea products? You can practically count the total number of them on one hand (well, two) over the 35 years of the company’s history. I think it’s possible they’re done, but I think it’s too soon to say.

@mrgan How do you know that? How would Apple telegraph that it either does or doesn’t still have big ideas?
