Just like @danielpunkass, I would never have tried to get a WWDC ticket in the old 30 second high pressure scramble system. The lottery system gives people time to think. @manton

I entered the WWDC lottery thinking I couldn't afford to go and assuming I wouldn't get picked. When I *did* get picked it forced me to rethink, and now I'm going! @manton @danielpunkass

For the same price I could have bought a Mac Pro…but I reckon WWDC is money better spent :)

Ticket, return airfare from Portugal to SFO (via LHR) and @AirBnB place all booked and paid for. I’m going to #WWDC2014!

Should be crazy happy about this…but there’s no way I can go :-(( photos.app.net/28033236/1

So, is it bad form to enter the WWDC lottery when you already know it’s impossible for you to attend?

Submitted an iOS app update to Apple on Sunday evening. It changed to "In Review" 2 days later, but no sign they've run the app yet…

@dalton @siracusa as an ex-member of the cult of audiophiles, I can guarantee you it's definitely not a hoax.

@ffried ah, I see what you mean. Ok, that's an easy fix :)
                        mluisbrown
@ffried the settings thing was just an excuse to use UIDynamics, with a custom transition :) Also the space either side allows the blurred background to show through.

@ffried hmm...I need to check that out. You're supposed to be able to enable iCloud after the IAP.

@ffried thanks! Clear was definitely an influence :) The animations are what I'm most proud of, and getting iCloud CoreData sync working ;-)

@scottsmith I'm trying to follow the 40/80 charging rule, so seeing the %age helps :) http://superuser.com/q/427099/101186
                                    mluisbrown
@scottsmith you're definitely right about that. That's why I always have the percentage enabled :)
                                      mluisbrown
@scottsmith why not just click on the icon and enable "Show Percentage"?
                                        mluisbrown
Looks like NSUserDefaults is KVO compliant in iOS7. Which is awesomely useful.
