@martinbryant i think the current climate here correlates to the organic nature of the platform ATM. features and syntax are being developed in real-time by the users. quite refreshing when compared to the alternatives...
@martinbryant I want it to be a way for communities of interest to develop. Whether it is swapping recipes or high scores in a video game, I want the social graph to connect those who care. Promoted tweets and 3rd party restrictions work against that.
@martinbryant@man@staticmade@duerig It's hard to say at this point what I want it to become. At the moment I'm happy with a Twitter-like service that is "for us", without the danger of it changing direction like Twitter is.
@martinbryant Personally I hope it becomes what it says it's going to be now. Perhaps tweak a few things that Twitter does badly. But Twitter works. The main reason I'm here is fear that Twitter is selling me out.
@katcaverly Yes, but I could put up with that - they need to get paid. I don't mind that. But they've chosen to do it by selling out the core of what made Twitter what it is, and have prioritised brands and celebrities above me (and you, and him and her).
