    Can't decide whether to be happy or sad that I am currently responding to emails sent to me over a month ago...

          @dalton it's cool, I don't mind waiting

            @dalton I did that today too. So far the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

              @gtd that's good. What's tough is when you clear your inbox then it immediately fills on again

                @dalton Thankfully I'm not a CEO so I don't quite have the volume to worry about. However the support buck stops with me which leads to a certain sense of responsibility.

                  @dalton You know, that kind of conundrum is another reason I retired. :)

                    @dalton I’m not looking forward to getting back to work Monday for that reason. Only 2 weeks worth, but the important ones are easiest to miss.

                      @dalton well, at least you take the time to go through them which is nice of you… lots of people just don’t bother. maybe get help sorting them out, but it you outsource replying then it’d be different :)

                        @carmen well, I do my best… some still fall through the cracks. Managing my own email has made me a lot more understanding when I get late/no response from folks

                          @dalton Better that than to ignore them completely. I’d rather get a useful response eventually than nothing ever.

                            @dalton Or is it the same as responding to a 6-day old ADN message? ;) #funnyorstupid? #probablystupid #ohwell

                              @thedaveca we can pretend you did it on purpose to make a clever meta-point ;)

                                @dalton that's my story, and I'm sticking with it.
