@tomcat I'm good! Still not the best correspondent, or frequent poster. Just checking in, cleaning out inactive followers. Seeing if it will take me to 40 in all honesty. It's good to see you and other adn peeps I follow still active! How are you?
@cano It did for a while! It was a "what have I got to lose" moment, for sure. After 2 months it died again. When it started to show symptoms last summer I decided to buy a mac mini (late 2012 i7 quad core), and have been relying my ipad air for travel.
@cano iStat is great. About a year ago my old MBP finally died, so it sat around until winter, when I decided to reflow the graphics card solder via the bake your motherboard method! I used iStats to monitor CPU temperatures. It was fun.
@cano I meant to reply to you 2 months ago, but got distracted! :o) did you get this bundle? I'm finding I now have nearly all the apps we see in bundles these days, so I didn't go for it! Now to learn the apps I have...
@caycepollard i was curious about the Windows experience. I just set it up on my Mac and it works well. I've used Splashtop, but I found Screens easier to use and set up. I also tested remotely, it worked fine.
@cano I bought mindnode for iOS after picking up the mac version in a bundle, but have used ithoughts more on the ipad. On the Mac I find myself using Curio, which supports drag and drop from other mindmaps.
@cano Can also use a mindmap and transfer to OO - when I am having trouble putting things in order a mindmap helps. Should be able to drag an outline in text form into OF. I often find myself using lighter options for outlining.
