    That's fun: NSFileHandle.readabilityHandler does NOT get called on EOF with an empty availableData, [stackoverflow.com] so you've no way to tell you've drained the filehandle. NOT a replacement for readInBackgroundAndNotify. Awesome. :\

        Switched to dispatch_io. Less code, and it actually works! Using a dispatch group to ensure stdout has been drained as well as process exited before delivering results to the completion block.
