And now that I’ve deleted all the code I’ve decided it was a good idea I just need to mess with the alpha.

@0xmf hah, I still think the concept I was attempting was ok, but can’t get it to look quite right. One of those ones that’s better in my head than on paper.

Well that’s a solid morning spent implementing a UX element that I’ve decided to throw away.

@dalton so how did your startups do at demo day?

@smileykeith cool, on baby duty now. Will send something tonight.

@smileykeith looks awesome. As an aside, do you do contracting? I know a guy in NC looking for an iOS person.

@berg so do you guys use GitHub for your non-OSS stuff too?
                jacksonh
@berg @kolin hah thanks. Kind of annoyed that a different implementation got pushed to the main VerbalExpressions repo.

Catching up on Planet Money podcast. Good episode on the cost of free. Lots of interviews with veterans angry at the Red Cross for charging for donuts.

Does iOS7 have a method of fetching the users springboard wallpaper, or is that just a special thing that some of the built in apps can do?
                      jacksonh
@spacekatgal that’s what I thought. Anyways, it looks good.

@spacekatgal which game engine do you use?

@erikprice Could be different RAC versions too. I'm using 2.0

@erikprice OK, got it working. Just a slight modification, (probably because of different RAC versions). I had to use [[RACSignal return:password] repeat] instead of never.

@erikprice awesome thanks. I had a feeling zipWith was the key. Your method makes sense, definitely the right direction. Also glad to hear this is tricky, was afraid it was incredibly basic.

@qnoid be strong, and spend lots of time at the office :-)

@erikprice I could use your infinite RAC advice here if you've got a sec: https://gist.github.com/jacksonh/7292c21eac40b79cc76d this seems really simple, but I can't figure out the best way to handle it.
