@isaiah the braces and goto arguments are a little silly IMO. It seems to me like it was a bad merge, which could just as easily break code with braces and without gotos too.
@chrisflesner i couldn’t give two shits about the code.
the larger implication here is that bad people are targeting oss, specifically ssl — the backbone of our banking and retail security — by exploiting (or perhaps planting) difficult to find bugs.
@isaiah for sure, I wasn’t trying to disagree with that part of what you were saying.
I’m sure this was being exploited before the news hit, and was possibly even planted. Hell, the NSA could’ve even been the ones to plant it.
