@moira Not so much fired up but shell shocked. Fired up in 3 - saw a lot of brooms. By 5, it looked like the pregame of Game 7 of the '03 NLCS.

@moira You should have seen the crowd in Cincy. For Game 3 I was up in the press box but for Game 5 I stayed down in the crowd and watched reactions as much as the game.

Here's why I like App.net. I can't imagine people here screaming about the difference between "broken" and "fractured." I can't imagine a lot of bad jokes or even hate towards an injured player. At least I hope that never happens here.

@moira Just glad RK is OK. Do you still need xanax without The Beard in play?

@beezee05 Yes. Much more sure thing. Big hope with Hernandez is a) that he plays and b) sneaks in a TD.

This Yankees run by Raul Ibanez is -- I know, he's streaky -- but it's still amazing to witness. Much, much credit to Brian Cashman for seeing how he would fit.

Nasty hit to Fister's wrist. Wonder if he'll have any less motion -- cmon, has to be a PitchFX geek on App.net, right?

@osc Thanks. I am hoping so. Curious to see if BIG events - playoffs, election - will broaden the discussion.

Aaron Hernandez might play tomorrow, but he's not going to be a good fantasy play. Really, he's the TE3 behind Gronkowski and Fells. I'd rather he waited another week really.

@tcduff Agree. Just impatient, curious what I can do to help since I am not a programmer/developer!

@phantom Good point. Disagree on price drop - there has to be a value and I like the barrier to entry. Trolls and "parodies" aren't likely to pay, thankfully.

@beezee05 Thanks. Yeah, it is ALL tech. Hope @dalton understands the need to broaden the platform.

Glad to see App.net is growing and clients out there, but outside the tech community, I'm not seeing much adoption. I couldn't even get my audience at SI.com to check out content here when I tried it a couple weeks back. Thoughts?

@hrbrt Small town. Line will be ridic. I'll just wait, see if the price drops. Would have thought this would be a perfect one for Amazon to promote.

@braynard It is, but it's a much better room. $50 is barrier to entry for the gameplayers.

@hrbrt The process for creating one is a bit complex. Have to think grandparents are going to be a big market for this.

I am interested to read JK Rowling's new book. I am not interested enough to pay 17.99 for it.

@ben Teams havent just not caught on, few are doing anything about it. Very little research, very little money even with recognition it COULD be a real advantage.
