Nominating "validates immediately" as misnomer of the day. Without that set, Cocoa Bindings' behavior is "validates never lol".

@secboffin @clarkgoble @chriskrycho @siracusa The Copland 2014 was a bit much of "Mommy, Daddy, don’t fight!" A lot of talking over each other. Haven’t finished it yet for that reason. /cc @gte

@clarkgoble @chriskrycho @siracusa I like Eero syntax, but don’t like that it solves none of Objective-C's prpblems

@pilky It works out ok though so long as you accept that you are in Javascript and not some other language.

@oluseyi Properties have essentially no overhead compared to ivars so mostly for consistency.

Are you an iOS developer and feel like helping out a student? Then maybe you’ll let me interview you (only 5-10 questions about the field) for my assignment. Reply if you can help me out! (Or maybe RP to help me find someone?) Thanks!

@keita @mgrimes I think that they are more intricate than that but I also think that there is prior art… but none comes to mind.

@oluseyi I prefer properties, yes. I see no upside to ivars :-)

“Hey Past Me, you jackass,” I say to myself. “Calling a variable weakSomething isn’t really the same as adding __weak to it.”

I think that static_assert might be an ok means to test macros in a header. Asserts could live at the bottom or top of file. Bad idea? Best idea?
