@thedoctor I've listened to the first story. Really evokes the era very well.

A great playlist for Anoushka Shankar. I'm usually skeptical of fusion artists but she does it really well, just like her father:) https://itunes.apple.com/us/playlist/intro-to-anoushka-shankar/idpl.28b3fff86e4a4218b7d1f6c57fa38f70 @laurafisher

@thedoctor they started that style for the 1st Doctor lost stories. Made sense because they didn't have a good option for the 1st Doctor at the time. But they recast the third Doctor so not sure why they did that.

@thedoctor I've enjoyed stories told with all of the styles although I think the full cast and companion chronicle styles are the most consistent. I'm not sure why they went with the cast and narration for the 3d Doctor.

I'm really hoping for a product red band for the Apple Watch on the 9th.

Another day shot to hell. Sigh. One of these weeks is going to go well I'm sure.

@thedoctor ... the story from the character's point of view. I really enjoyed most of those. Was fun to hear Jo Grant impersonating the 3d Doctor as opposed to Katie Manning impersonating the Doctor if that makes any sense.

@thedoctor BF uses 4 different styles of story telling. Straight audio book, full cast (like the 8th adventures), full cast with narration (like the new 3d Doctor), and the companion chronicles. The CCs had anywhere from 1 to 3 characters telling... Cont.

@thedoctor having said that, I do find the style of the story (full cast, full cast w/narrator, companion chronicle style) to not be nearly as important as the stories and performances.

@thedoctor they have used the narrator in several lines. Started with the 1st Doctor lost story Farewell Great Macedon (amazing story!) and also use it in the newer "Early Adventures" line as well. It takes some getting used to.

@thedoctor the pre order prices are usually really attractive. I try to buy all my stuff that way. Although if you're patient you can get really good deals through their sales.
