@benbrooks I have had enough crashes/springboard–restarts for it to be noticeable, but probably not more than a few per week. Annoying? Yes. Intolerable? No.

@moneywell @nothirst "Improved scheduled transaction auto-generation to remove sync duplicates" — thank you so much for this!!

@kevinhoctor If that's the case, then they will sell like hot cakes, but no way they can maintain the 329 $ price point.

@billkunz ah, found it, thanks! It was just my avatar that was showing on Colin's posts and not vice-versa. Fixed now.

@billkunz is there a way to reset the cache short of deleting and reinstalling the app?
            erict
. @billkunz @cocoasamurai Not sure what's going on, but I'm fairly certain that is not the picture of Colin. 😀 Image [photos.app.net]

@amy @kevinhoctor Hear Hear! Sorry I didn't get to send any feedback this time around (for the iPad version), but I too would much like a Calendar view, in both the Mac and iOS products.

@kevinhoctor I see, makes sense. Yeah, silly thing with my bank. I tried contacting tech support (email & phone, but it's no use, they're clueless). Fortunately, I was able to grab the necessary JavaScript code and put it in a bookmarklet. Works fine!

@kevinhoctor Congratulations! MoneyWell for iPad is a thing of beauty. Instabuy! My bank did not allow downloading bank statements in Quicken format through Safari Mobile, but I managed to create a bookmarklet to do it regardless. Would love inapp browser.

@kevinhoctor Maybe I'm not doing it right, but it's not automatically filling in for me (notice how there's available income, yet no Fill Amounts anywhere): photos.app.net/10138016/1

@kevinhoctor Does the Fill Buckets functionality in MW23b no longer automatically fill the buckets from available income? Seems like I have to manually input the buckets amounts. Am I missing anything?

@kalperin If you didn't redeem the DP1 install code from the Dev Center, then I think you're out of luck. Otherwise, you can reinstall from the App Store. AFAIK, DP2-DP4 are all software updates. No direct install, you must install each one successively.

@amy unfortunately, I think it's safe to assume that will be the case for all server-backed technologies going forward.

@sirshannon Saving, Syncing and Sharing. Any data-editing app that doesn’t implement the first one is pretty much a non-starter. While they’re nice to have, items #2 and #3 are by no means essential though.

@kapsa Très chouette endroit pour la lecture (et même pour travailler je dirais). C’est chez toi?

@amy To think you could have written that app 5 years ago and you practically wouldn’t had had to touch it for all that time. :-)

@kirbyt Congrats on the book (Learning iPad Programming) and thank you. I'm following along and enjoying it very much. Any hints on how to implement the velocity property in Chapter 11's final exercise? Math is not my strongest skill.

@sirshannon But there's no way my next machine won't have a Retina screen. I eventually did get a 27" TB display so all I want for my next machine is to be thin and light. I think a 13" MBPR would be perfect for me, but I'll "wear-out" my current 17" first

@sirshannon I'm not advocating for the 17". That's what I got when I bought mine since I couldn't justify getting the 27" TB display, but I wanted the largest possible resolution. It was the right choice for me at the time...

@sirshannon If you’re going to connect it to a (large) external monitor, I’d go with with a 13” MBP Retina (Core i7 if you can afford it). If you’ll be working mostly from the laptop itself, then I’d go with the 15” MBPR. I have a 17” MBP btw.
