@adiabatic Also, if you're trying to compare to a minimum version, you'll want to do something like: considering numeric strings set compatible to osver ≥ "10.9" end considering
    eg
@adiabatic Try: "set osver to system version of (system info)"

@mcdemarco I do have a plan to try and fix the "mass posting". Just need a free weekend... @0xmf

@mcdemarco What's up with so many pledges at the $5 level? Is it a "secret tier" (like I've seen with some other projects) where you pledge some (larger) amount but at that level to make it a "private" tier of sorts?

@0xmf Hmm. The lobste.rs idea is interesting. I will definitely add that to my "ideas list". Thanks for the suggestion. (Do you have any invites? Apparently you need one to participate, although that shouldn't preclude a postbot from scraping stories.)

@0xmf If you follow @kickstarter10, you should be able to mute the accounts you don't care about (e.g. @ks_music or @ks_fashion). I definitely try to keep the @hackernews account working! Occasionally it has issues and it posts a bunch of stories at once.

@0xmf FWIW, I'm still here. I'm just not very chatty. :) I do enjoy using A•n to keep up with @hackernews and @kickstarter10 as well as a couple other feeds. It's pretty much become a sort-of RSS reader replacement for me.

@mcdemarco Glad they will try again! @ggirton

@mcdemarco Cool. Hope they re-group and figure out how to promote it better.

@mcdemarco Just backed "Gnomi"! Looks pretty good. They'll need a miracle to reach their goal though...

Yikes. A•n is not automatically URL-ifying the new gTLDs like ".software": » @hackernews: Seven Deadly Annoyances of API Design http://chickenwing.software/scratches/programming/annoying-apis » Comments [news.ycombinator.com]

@0xmf I've never been able to use Ctrl-A in tmux or screen. I always remap it to Esc-A, and have my Option (Alt on PC) key configured to send Esc+key. That way Ctrl-A works everywhere for "move to beginning of line" as intended. :)

@0xmf Can you provide any examples of these "old" posts? HN permits linking to old stories, but will usually include the year in parentheses if it's not "current".

@literary WeatherNerd has been my Home Screen weather app since it came out. Really like it.

@literary Thanks. I primarily use Gmail as well. I may have to give Outlook a try since I've heard a couple others say it's a pretty nice email client for iOS.

@literary Out of curiosity, who is your email provider? Just wondering if it's Exchanged-based. I'm liking Spark for email (and have been using Fantastical for a while for calendaring).

@mcdemarco Nice! I wasn't aware of the redesign effort (I mostly just go to BGG to check ratings, or look for rules clarifications) but it looks good, and will definitely be welcome.

@zev I have only had a chance to install GitUp but not any time to learn about it, so no, haven't really used it. I was wondering if either of you had tried it more thoroughly and what you thought. :-) @keita
