        @kyleisom Interesting. This guy [news.ycombinator.com] *claims* to be able to do it pretty easily.

          @0xmf I also consider the -i option to be too annoying to include in those aliases by default. I should’ve figured you’d have tried it or at least knew about the option. Apologies. :-)

            @0xmf Depending on how often you “mv” to existing files, alias mv=’mv -i’ might be something to consider. Similarly for ‘cp’.

              @noleli Wow. I didn't realize that. We've always called it a "door-wall"!

                I ponied up the money for the PragmataPro [www.fsd.it] font a couple days ago. It is fantastic. I have it configured as my default font in both iTerm and Sublime Text and am really liking how compact it is. I also want to try this zsh theme [twitter.com] which uses some nice glyphs.

                  @edwardloveall That image-to-ASCII conversion thing is pretty wild!

                    @cheesemaker Looks like a house centipede [en.wikipedia.org]. They are freaky looking for sure, but they actually eats lots of other critters (including spiders, bed bugs, termites and ants) so you don't have to kill it.... they are generally considered harmless to humans.

                      @klug Me too! I literally said “whoa” out loud when I opened the door. Then I grabbed my phone for a pic. :-)

                            @joshpennington Is it an SMCD3GNV? If so, you definitely can call to have it configured to “bridge mode” so your downstream router will get the “real” IP address and not a private-side address from the DHCP server in the SMC.

                              @joshpennington Did Comcast send you a new “modem” or something? I ask because my father just got a new one in the mail from Comcast... and since he already has a wifi router, I needed to have him call and get the new device configured to “bridge mode”...

                                I see the paradox of tolerance [en.wikipedia.org] is alive and well.

                                  @foozmeat I really like @cauldron. My settings: single-column mode, visibility of buttons in posts 0 (so they only show on hover), thumbnails for pictures, inner design of posts set to "Top", outer design set to "Rectangle", and no horiz/vert spacing.

                                    @cauldron Well played, sir. I totally fell for what I now think was an April Fools Day prank. I restarted Cauldron several times and wondered why I wasn't seeing the update screen!
