    @dalton Good move. I was just speaking with a developer/recent CS grad from a place where we like to outsource to and the pay is low. This will make a difference to him and his friends.

      @dalton ooh! It is a good day! Guess it will get a lot more busy here!

        Freemium accounts are a good thing. And actually, I'm happy about them for another reason: I see little reason to continue paying for ADN. I'm not that heavy of a user. Who else is in the same boat?

          @dalton interesting spot to draw the line, is the 40 followers intended to be an antispam sort of thing?

            @dalton also, fuck yeah, super glad this happened!

              @dalton pondering the implications. is the invite-only part a firm part of the plan?
              jssrea
                @dalton Good move! I have one doubt though: I have only one invitation left. Does that mean that I can only invite one more person? Or, as I suspect, the available invitations are "restarted" from time to time?

                  @dalton 40 followings is not very appealing. can you at least grant some minimum api access to paid accounts then?

                      @dalton Letting people try ADN for free before investing their hard earned moolah is crucial. This is a great idea and absolutely necessary to grow the user base. A+

                        @dalton I like the idea of a free tier. I'm still on the monthly plan. Do I have access to invites? Where do I find them?

                              @dalton @adn invites will still be only for 1-yr accounts?
