    Hey there: if you've decided to follow me here, are you enjoying the Instagram notes and pictures I'm piping in? Or would you prefer I not import them?

      @digiphile I'm fine with it, they aren't frequent enough to overpower my feed

        @digiphile I'm fine with them. It's interesting to see your perspective in life. :-) Besides, you don't bombard ADN with them.

          @dalton Seeing as how you may be *the* alpha alpha user, that's good to hear. With respect to "overpowering your feed," what's about right? 10/day? 20? Also I see you're following 549 folks here & 320 on Twitter. What's too many for you to "keep up?"

            @digiphile probably 10 or so. fwiw, my account over there is in maintenance mode, I culled it way down and stopped reading it. I have found people have wildly different ideas about amount of info is ideal for them

              @ranti Glad to hear it! And glad to hear that you find them interesting. And no, I'd definitely try to avoid that anywhere.

                @dalton Right on. Good to know; thank you. And yes, they certainly do. (I keep tweaking my filters.) Regarding volume, I haven't tried "liveblogging" any events with ADN; has anyone else? Reactions, if so?

                  @digiphile a few folks have. In general things tend to be more conversational than anything else

                    @digiphile @dalton -> @orian liveblogged a trip outside soon after Hurricane Sandy. He survived. ;)

                      @digiphile I don't mind them. What @dalton said basically.

                        @33mhz @digiphile there may or may not have been a zombie encounter during said liveposting :)

                          @digiphile IMHO it’s outta place. ADN has the nice habit of being about conversation and less about piping in other services. It’s not superlative, but I tend to scroll by.

                            @joeybaker so far, you're the first to reply in the negative to the question. Is this place *only* about conversation? If so, how do they start? Sharing what I'm seeing, doing or thinking can catalyze conversations, no? Particularly if paired with images?

                              @digiphile ADN is whatever we want it to be :) If had had my choice, most of Instagram (which is mostly picture status updates) would stay on Instagram, and photos that made a point would come over to ADN. But, it’s your feed! Don’t let me dictate!
