Ever complain about a lack of innovation? Then perhaps we shouldn't complain so much when we get what we want. See #Ubuntu, #Gnome3, , #KDE4, #Facebook and #Google. We get what we deserve while #CallofDuty nets record sales. :\

"accused Japanese officials of losing “passion and love” for whaling and not fighting hard enough in court." What kind of person does it make you if you love killing for killing's sake?

PSA: Japan is continuing it's illegal whale hunt [www.seashepherd.org] in contempt of the ICJ and basically the entire world.

Really though, If anyone is running an OpenCart install, shut it down, now, and read through that gist before getting something very, very strong to drink.

Wired: "Why Privacy Is Actually Thriving Online" ...right. Even as someone who appreciates Google, saying privacy is thriving goes a bit far...but hey, I bet you get lots of clicks!

@clarkgoble @arstechnicaThey're both owned by Condé Nast. actually.

@clarkgoble @arstechnica If I was a betting man, I'd say they're trying to drive traffic to Wired, but if they keep continually screwing up basic and contentious facts, It's just going to hurt Ars.

@clarkgoble But, but, think of how much money they were making on donations to stop it! And they could end it at any time! :/

@clarkgoble Aye, It's a wired sourced article, which sucks. I'm not sure why they think bringing in Wired articles helps, anyone. >.< Ars has always done pretty good as a more standalone news site.

As usual though, no one considers that Greenpeace, like many major 'charities' are a sham and exist almost solely to keep themselves alive, although, sadly, probably with good intentions.

IWC finds Japanese Whaling illegal, Ars/Wired credits Greenpeace who hasn't been seen in Whaling grounds for years rather than Sea Shepherd, NPO cited in Japanese reports as making their whaling impossible. Sad when CNN is more accurate than Ars... :/

Back with Fedora running on the Laptop and my Desktop duel-booting Fedora/Win8. I have to hand it to the Gnome team, while I dislike their "User is a baby" mentality, They've finally added enough back to make Gnome3 quite nice.

@hybotics There are a ton of really awesome designs running around. It's already blow away Wordpress in the design dept. IMO and for even something like $15 you can find some stunning themes...or you can try mine free and donate later. >.> ;)
