@adiabatic Open worlds with 'dynamic' AI and as of late, tons of clocktowers to climb and unlock parts of the map. >.> The formula is tried/true at this point.

Rather surprised there hasn't been any major updates to #ADN in the year or so since dev was 'halted'. I mean, I realize it'd be basically for a non-profit job, but it seems like a hobby a lot of people, myself included, would enjoy.

Well this is still alive, surprisingly...I'm more surprised it isn't at least someones side-project though. Especially with Twitter's continued, albeit slower than expected, fall, alternatives will be needed.

@muncman If you do indeed have spare, I wouldn't mind checking things out.

@sgtstretch Granted, you can always use "PTSD" as one of my friends does to justify any action whatsoever. As GM, I'm surprisingly OK with his 'party' having to restrain and disarm him every 15 minutes...I have a sadistic streak it seems.

So apparently Towns got around 2m gross, and is now claiming they can't afford development...Even if we assume only 50% survived taxes/fees, you're telling me an indie team...actually, solo dev, can't survive on 500k a year? Really?

What is going on with @arstechnica anymore? Between the wired spam, linkbait scare posts, poorly researched or plain 3 paragraph 'articles', It's turning into a joke. :/ It's as if they don't care.

@chriskrycho Seems to be a trend actually. >.< Any time something is seen as secure, folks are so jaded they just assume it's because no one has bothered.

HTML5 isn't mainstream enough for haxors to give a fuck. True story.

@wickedgood the powers that be aren't focused on the microblogging aspects of ADN but the "other uses." Which is problematic for those of us who like the microblogging... @zero @billkunz

Ever complain about a lack of innovation? Then perhaps we shouldn't complain so much when we get what we want. See #Ubuntu, #Gnome3, , #KDE4, #Facebook and #Google. We get what we deserve while #CallofDuty nets record sales. :\
