@spacekatgal I've added it to my amazon wish list for gift ideas for her. Her birthday is coming up soon :-)

@spacekatgal gotcha, that makes sense. That's all I was asking :-) I have no objections, just wanted to clarify and understand better! Thanks.

@spacekatgal I noticed the writing and explanations pointing to the headband for example. Her reading at 5 years old is at a first grade level, so I was wondering if that was a something to keep in mind, or if those don't matter as much.

@spacekatgal also, I've never seen sailor moon, so I had no idea that's what the drawing is.

@spacekatgal i don't understand why you brought up A, I wasn't commenting on sailor moon, or the book. I was simply asking if the content is approachable and understandable for a 5 year old. From a reading and comprehension standpoint.

@spacekatgal would you recommend these for a 5 year old? My girlfriends daughter loves drawing, and I could see this helping her get better, but it looks like it is not really for young kids.

@donnywdavis I have Safari set to ask me before allowing Flash, which works okay, but there are a lot of sites I have simply blocked and if I can’t see content, I just close the tab. Sped up my browsing too ;-)

@donnywdavis This is something that irritates me too… there should be no reason for it to require flash.

@mps gotta be a little bit more specific ;-)

@wickedgood @spacekatgal the two are not mutually exclusive, you can still make snide remarks ;-)

For all the people who have played with electronics and the like, look at Appendix J of Application Note 47 from Linear Technology: http://cds.linear.com/docs/en/application-note/an47fa.pdf Also known as AN47-130 ;-)

I thought I had life all figured out, I thought I knew what I was doing, I thought I knew where I was going, and most of all I thought I knew what I wanted. I am so completely and utterly dead wrong.

@matigo @remino that's what OS X does too, they are called resource forks.
