    @paulgit I hate to beat the same drum over and over, but you should think about looking for a new job. You really seem to be constantly getting the wrong end of the stick when it comes to your job. With your experience, finding another job would be easy.

      @nitinkhanna Yeah, I do love living in different countries. Berlin is pretty great, and the company is great. I might stay here for a while. :-)

        @nitinkhanna @philg Thanks, guys. I’m actually working on Wunderlist 3 for OS X. Sunstroke 2 is my own project. It’s slow-going, though, because I’m focused on finishing Wunderlist 3.

          @nitinkhanna @philg Actually, I’m in Berlin now, working at 6Wunderkinder (the makers of Wunderlist). Sunstroke 1.x has reached end-of-life. I’ve got tons of projects open now (including my full-time work on Wunderlist). Sunstroke 2.0 is one of them.

            @ediventurin Sometimes a saved search “gets stuck” with an incorrect count. In that case, I delete it and recreate it.
            atdrendel
              @ediventurin It’s not an acceptable fix (I know), but it works.
              atdrendel
                @ediventurin Occasionally, I’ve seen a bug where syncing immediately after marking all items as read screws up the connection between an article and a saved search item. So, I don’t sync immediately after marking all items as read.
                atdrendel
                  @ediventurin That’s not normal. The saved searches take their read/unread status from the normal articles. When the article is marked as read, so is the saved item and vice versa.

                    @benbrooks @erinb Congratulations, you two (scratch that, three)!

                      @zero I haven’t had that problem.
                      atdrendel
                        @caycepollard That’s understandable. I’m it sure why the image cache would grow that large. The code that keeps it small is pretty foolproof. You might just want to uninstall Sunstroke and reinstall it. That would probably fix the problem.
                        atdrendel
                          @zero @caycepollard I doubt that it’s the cache. It’s probably the database. By default, Sunstroke keeps all downloaded articles for ten weeks. You can change this in Settings > Sunstroke > Delete Items After. Warning: the next sync will take a long time.

                            @paulgit Good luck with the meeting. You shouldn’t be responsible for correcting other people’s mistakes. Or, if you are responsible, you should get paid a lot of money for it!

                                @paulgit All of the difficulties seem to fall on you, though. You want to live in China, but you seem to spend most if your time in Korea—away from your family. It seems really tough to me.

                                      @paulgit You would have definitely been welcome, but, believe me, you wouldn’t have wanted to eat anything that I cooked.
