@jws the comfort lies in when they get forced to tell who they sold it to, who then get ordered to destroy all the data (as google has) AND get a fine. the EU really doesn’t fart around in that department.

@jws well, in theory AND practice, if google doesn’t follow EU rules on what it can and cannot do privacy wise, they can get a bit of a fine handed down to them. for reference: ask microsoft how significant such fines are. :-)

Insanity!! They would be hung for this in the EU >> @arstechnica: ISPs want “flexible” privacy rules that let them “innovate” with customer data http://arstechnica.com/business/2016/02

My Airsoft collection got expanded today with a FNX-45 tactical and a H&K MP7 GBBR. The latter kicks like a mule! 😆

@aphroditesw oh, this has little to do with old age. Once, when I was 10, I woke up being paralysed from the waist down. sometimes, you just jam up a nerve or joint that way.

@kdfrawg already started that particular party over here :)

@kdfrawg well, how about we both correct that, and have a ADN party? :)

@kdfrawg I am, Michael. I hope you are well too? I’ll try to be more active here. I miss this place whenever I am not there, yet always seem to be unable to find the time to come here. :(

it is time to get that classic running on the mac (through porting kit): warhammer 40K : dawn of war. runs like a charm.

@larand honestly, at this point I am so snared in Apple's ecosystem it won't be an issue until the system breaks. I am in favor of Apple trying to push them to an iTunes+ situation like they did way back. It made all of iTunes DRM free. // @jnm @snrkl
